Congratulations! If I may ask, what kind of mail did u receive from VO? Was it a request for additional documents or relating to CSE raised by you? Thanks.

Hi Janie, welcome to the forum. As you would have observed, FSWP 2013 applications are being processed at a very slow pace by LVO. However, we are hoping things will change this month going by information we gathered from friends who were interviewed following discussion with VO. This is now evident from 2 LVO applicants who got "processing started on 3rd of March in Ecas" over the weekend. If you have not heard from LVO since you applied on 22nd of May, I would suggest you raise CSE to LVO requesting application update. I am very sure your application would be under review based on your timeline, as mine has been under review since November 2013. It is true that certain NOC's are being selected for interview but not necessarily being dealt with first.

US POLICE CLEARANCE

DEAR FORUM MATES,

I AM A FREQUENT FLYER TO US.IN 2013 I TRAVELED AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH TO US, IN SOME CASES TWICE A MONTH. THE MAXIMUM DURATION OF MY STAY IN US DID NOT EXCEEDED 8 DAYS/ VISIT.

DO I STILL NEED FBI CLEARANCE? PLEASE ADVISE.

NO, only if you have stayed more than 6 months since the age of 18.

Let LVO advise you on that. If it is required, they will inform u. For now, do nothing. Usually, police certificate is required if someone has lived in a country for consecutive 6 months duration.
