just posting on behalf of a friend, he got US B1/B2 and now wants to enter canada to meet his friend. What option he has got. Waiting for experts opinion and guidance.

Hi Luqi,

Your friend needs to apply for TRV (Temporary Resident visa... also referred as visit visa) electronically.
See steps in http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp
Apply online
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/apply_online.asp

US B1/B2 will help in evaluation and approval but is not enough to enter Canada

we received medical in last novemebr but we returned due to my pregnancy, now we submitted new baby forms and waiting for medical.
please help me

1. any forum for the guidance of kids education, so that i know which class my kids will join and what will be slabus? i want that my kids start that slabus in Pakistan and go through.
2. any forum for the guidance of credential assessment?
3. any forum for job hunting, cv preparation, awareness about job requirements?

i will be thankful to you :)

Ofcourse he can apply from where ever he is presently staying. Depends upon the city in US he is staying.
I suggest he should check out time taken to process at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/visitors.asp#west.
See the Processing Times IN DAYS (based on a complete application package) in US seem high but it is even higher than in islamabad.
Normally there is no interview. He will need to submit the passport to the Visa office for stamping and return although.
