Hi,

1. Ur 2nd option is not valid, 'coz PRVs cannot be stamped outside of ur VO. Besides, VO's cannot be transferred on our request.
2. Ur only options r:
a) As u said, get it personally stamped at London;
b) Send the pps thru a friend/relative who's travelling to UK.

hello every one ,,, i got MR, APPLICATION FORM 1M0008, TRAVEL HISTORY FORM from london visa office DATED: 20th aug 2012 ,,,THEY DID NOT ASK FOR PCC {DONT KNOW WHY ??} NOW I M IN INDIA ,TODAY I WENT FOR MEDICAL TO DMP BUT HE ADVISED ME THAT THEY CANT SEND MEDICAL TO LONDON VISA OFFICE ,THEY WILL SEND MEDICAL TO DELHI RMO ,, HE ALSO SHOWED ME THE EMAIL FROM " MEDICAL DEPARTMENT DELHI, CANADA HIGH COMMISSION THE MAIL DATED 18TH JUNE 2012 WAS WRITTEN LIKE " DEAR PANEL PHYSICIANS, IT IS A GENTLE REMINDER THAT ALL IME IRRESPECTIVE TO THERE VISA OFFICES SHOULD BE FORWArDED to RMO NEW DELHI " SO I DID MEDICAL AS DMP SAID TODAY [30TH AUG } .....WILL IT EFFECT ON MY CASE ??/? SHOULD I SENT A EMAIL TO LONDON VISA OFFICE REGARDING THIS???

If I were in your shoes I would send to LVO & inform them on those updates. Also, I don't think there is anything to worry about.

hi! we know but we couldnt do the xray here since we will renew our visa next month and we are anxious of the radiation that our body will get for having 2 xrays consecutively. thanks!

I am sharing here a post from our friend shanks (QSW) whose passport was kept for several months and London kept advising him that visas are being issued currently. And this is what happened later:


"Little update on my case

Sent another CSE to CIC London and guess what

They have sent my passport in the 2nd week from London and it never reached my consultant in Mauritius. Tried to ring the mailing service that my agent gave me and to my surprise that number isnt in any of their database. They also told me that they dont have any service with prepaid envelope. So almost 3 weeks now and no news of my passports..

It is more stressful to know it was sent and it might be lost than it hasnt been sent.

I will have to investigate and wait for my VO to send me details on how he posted and when he posted them to my agent.

I swear, i never had to deal with such an incompetent agency before.

Will keep you guys updated.

Note to Ketevan's case: On 30/07/12 passport request was issued by regular mail. On 08/08/12 an e-mail was received advising to ignore this PPR and wait for a new one, because additional background checks are needed that will take AT LEAST 1 month

Usually you submit passport on thursday and they tell you to come back after 2 thursdays. Sometimes they do not offer the option to do this in person. For example, the aforementioned shanks did not see such option in his passport request.

It seems not yet. But the ones on the list have only lately submitted their medicals. So that might be the reason rather than being from Pakistan
