no yaar, i m surprised bcoz most of the applicants are from GCC (Country of Residence) whose case are transferred from London to Paris....

Paris Visa Office is very quick than London Office......so you can expect in this month or max by July (mostly in June)
I think the files they selected to be moved to PVO was on random basis. I am from India but applied my case in London as I am resident of UK. My case was also transferred to PVO.

your medical was submitted online by DMP, if yes, then it can be globally viewed

Secondly send email to Paris Visa OFfice that your medical has reached London Office

Processing Times May Increase as Foreign Service Officers Strike :-X
Friday, 14 June 2013

Processing times for applications submitted to Canadian Visa Offices abroad may rise as Canada’s foreign service officers go on strike.
Last week, foreign service officers serving both inside and outside agreed to go on strike in protest of what they believe is unequal pay across government departments. This strike is the first of its kind since the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) was created 46 years ago. PAFSO claims that officers are paid less than government colleagues from different departments, despite performing similar or identical work.

Many of the PAFSO officers participating in the strike work for Canadian Visa Offices around the world. Because of this, offices experiencing strikes may experience delays in application processing. Current processing times posted on Canadavisa and the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website do not take into account additional delays that may be incurred due to the strike.

CIC has assured applicants that contingency plans are already in place to assure that Visa Offices remain open and that at least a minimum level of service will be provided, with a priority placed on urgent humanitarian cases.

My case was transferred from London Office to Paris on May 14, 2012. I received the Medical requests on March 21, 2013. Completed my Medical on April 8, the results on the website appeared exactly after a week i.e. on April 15. Landing fee paid on 16th April and final set of documents were received in Paris office on April 29th, 2013. Since then its all quiet. No change in the website status as well.

Sent e cas on 19 May, still no response...

Any idea whats happening?

Hi Oblivion. I think we are in the same boat, as we have almost identical timeline with PVO. I haven’t heard back from PVO as well after medical appeared on ecase. What’s your country of citizenship?
I guess it is all just a matter of background / security checks now. Let’s hope for the best.

This ND VO sucks..with same timeline like others,we are still waiting for MR & PPR..
Anyways, read somewhere today"Things which can not be cured needs to be endured.." so waiting and waiting..

So nothing much to report here. Even Paris office started delaying things. So most of the members of this thread have received their PPR requests from Paris. :)
