i think the movement in the paris visa office has been very less compared to LVO after the strike ended. what do you guys think?

not really, one of my friend who applied witj me received his PPR on wednesday. i think its a visa category that matters rhe most and the status of back ground security checks.

Indeed they are really slow.

May be category is playing the game. Done with medical on April 02. Still waiting for DM. I am from 0213 category.

Sunny what is your category and when did you go for medical?

LL my catagory is 0711 (construction manager). completed my meds mid may and sent. ecas has medicals recieved but since no response. i sent two emails to PVO both came back with the response that ongoing "internal verification" no other hint to anything. i have put a gcms request lets see how that comes back.

my initial hopes that PVO will work very quickly are not coming true so far.

As per the letter AUH take 10 working days for the process and 3 days extra for courier.
So you should get news this week.

My passport was deposited on 26 Sept

Yes they are active for few days in a month and then off for vacations. No pattern as such. Always don't have much in our hands than to wait and watch and pray.

Thanks Oblivion. When can I expect PPR? In couple of days? or it can take more time.

Also what are your plans. Landing this year or in 2014?
