Unfortunately only the time spent working in the NOC B job will count as Canadian work experience towards CEC. Are you on a PGWP? You may be able to extend your work permit.

Yes I am on pgwp
But I almost done my NOC B one year
The thing is
Am i only eligible for CEC draws only? Or for the normal draw as well?

If you have at least one year of continuous work experience in a skilled NOC (i.e. A, B or 0) then you would qualify under the FSW draws too. This can be work experience from outside of Canada of course. For the FSW draws the work experience does need to be for at least a year and continuous (without breaks). Work experience under CEC does not have to be continuous.

The break is due to lockdown only
Do you have any idea that immigration made any exception for this break?

There have been no announcements about any exceptions.

But again, if you are applying under CEC then your work experience does not need to be continuous. You just need a full 12 months of work in a NOC A, B or 0 role.

All draws are 'NORMAL' so you may want to rephrase that to make it understandable...

Like when there is a draw without any special category for e.g. pnp and cec draws which happened recently and those for which score was about 470 (without any special category)

Inevitably, draws without a specific category will have a higher cut-off score than CEC only draws. A 470 cut-off is normal, its just a reflection of the current pool.

You'll be drawn whenever CEC candidates are, if you pass the cut-off that is.

sorry I don’t understand
Means if my score is 470 and the draw is normal without cec specific draw
Still am I eligible for that or not?

Your score is not what makes you eligible for a draw, it is just having a profile. If it is not stream specific, them of courses CEC profiles will be drawn.
