I heard it takes 3 months to 4 months right now but it depends upon the NOC Code...Beware that Service Canada changed the Program Requirements for the LMO process and expect delays.
Employer should comply the Program Requirements or else LMO will be denied. Theyre very strict.

I know what you mean about new requirements. I was about to send in all my forms at the beginning of January when I logged back on their website and saw that there were new rules. I had to readvertise the position and redo my forms. I didn't want any errors as I don't want to waste $275!

I just need to come up with good rationale why I'm hiring a foreign worker for live in caregiver!

Yes...275$ for the LMO process and additional forms.

I guess your good excuse why do you need to hire foreign workers is that...You couldnt find an applicant who has a good qualification and make sure that, your prospective employee has many years of experience in the job since it is very crucial for the VO to consider that the foreign worker is indeed is fully qualified and has many years of experience.
