Hi All,

I would like to inquire if there will be a problem if my LMO salary is hourly rate then my Job Offer is annualized (inclusive of vacation pay). Will this have any effect on my application?

If I divide the the annualized value from the job offer, it will be higher than the hourly rate of the LMO.

For your inputs.

Thanks a lot!

I think it must be consistent since you mentioned a discrepancy between what's in the LMO and in the job offer. Maybe you can ask for another job offer stating the same salary as per LMO just to make sure that no more dilemma may arise during visa processing.

Thanks goldbank. I'll talk to my employer to make their offer the same as the LMO.

Go through the LMO carefully and see if there are any other discrepancies. Good job you found the error when you did.

What happened is that when I received the LMO the hourly salary was different from the hourly salary from my employer. The LMO was higher.

I notified my employer. What they did is adjust the hourly salary same as the LMO. But in their job offer, which was previously hourly, now became annual salary.

I am not sure if Visa Officers know how to compute and make the hourly (LMO) and annual (job offer) salary match.

The job offer should spell out how many hours a week, multiply by 52 that to get the annual hours and divide it into the annual salary....does it match the hourly rate? If you have concerns, put calculations into a cover letter.

The job offer only has the annualized salary. No number of weeks stated.

If I add up the LMO hourly rate, the job offer is still higher though.

Do you have sample cover letters?

Thanks a lot!
