lmo for part time workers

If anybody can clear me on my very confusing situation? I have been working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 2.5 years on PGTWP. My last job offer was 40% permanent. But I have been given extra shifts (often overtime) which means I do at least 37.5 hours per week. I need an LMO to extend my work permit. My employer sent an application to HRSDC and they replied that they don't do an LMO for part time workers. I am very confused because it's been more than two months since my employer started the process for LMO and provided a proof that I work full time. I had to apply for WP extention without LMO (my PGTWP expired on July,14). Instead I sent a confirmation letter from my employer that they'd sent the application to HRSDC. What should I do, look for another job offer? I really need that WP extention since I applied for PR (Canadian Experience Class) few month ago and would like to be able to work while waiting for a decision.

It doesn't matter if you work full time hours. The job offer must be for a role that is 100% permanent. Can your current employer revise the job offer to make it 100% permanent?

Thanks for your response SCYllA. I wish I new about this before. Totally my fault. I would have applied for 100%. But there is no 100% permanent positions available now. And if there were it's not easy to get one since seniority is the major asset. And they still need nurses. I am frustrated. I guess I have to look for a new employer. Thanks again!
