LMO approval/ rejection

Hi, my employer did receive a phone call today from HRSDC and at the end of the conversation, the officer said, that he will receive an answer some time this week.
From your experience - does HRSDC tell the employer in the phone conversation, if he is getting and approval?
How long does it usually take from the phone call till the answer comes.

i want to share my timeline of hrsdc lmo .i got approval in 5 weeks and my employer received a call from case officer on jan 14-2012 for some required document from my employer side then after two week i got positive lmo.hrsdc lmo has no timeline but normally in work permit it take 4 to 8 weeks.
