LMIA supporting PR

My lawyer had applied for LMIA which support my PR in June but till Date I didn't here any good news from him
Is there any restriction on same LMIA ?
Or
They r clearing backlog of old files?
Please guide me
I m optimistic for LMIA

A company is supposed to apply for an LMIA either themselves or through a lawyer. Individual applicants cannot apply for an LMIA.

My firm applied in early August for my LMIA and we got a confirmation mail that they received the application after a couple of weeks. After about 7 weeks we got a call and an email from ESDC about the LMIA asking for some additional information. Your lawyer must have hear something about it if he applied in June. Sounds a little shady.

My self is working outside Canada
Is that any reason for delay?
I didn't hear that about outsiders that got LMIA from mother country
