LMIA salary

Hlo friends , i want to ask you that i am in Canada on LMIA based work permit .

If my employer wants to increase salary he can increase or not ? If yes then how much can increase?


My current salary which was mentioned in LMIA 27 dollars per hour i am carpenter and i have experience 5 years.


I want to apply for BC PNP in that program salary helps to increase srs points

The employer compliance requirements after a positive LMIA are:
"employers must provide each foreign worker with wages that are substantially the same but not less favourable than those in the offer of employment" and,
"informing Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)/Service Canada of any changes or errors relating to an approved LMIA, the temporary foreign worker or the working conditions"

If the employer is inspected, there could be consequences (the logic being that the job was advertised at a lower wage to discourage Canadians from applying, with the understanding that it would be raised after the LMIA is approved. Some people are just so suspicious, eh?
