LMIA - Is it sponsorship?

Hi,

I need to know if LMIA is sponsorship because my HR needs to know that and its company 's policy not to sponsor employees.

Not necessarily. A LMIA is permission to hire a foreign worker.

An employer can choose to support/sponsor an employee for Permanent Residence, but they are not obligated to do so.
