Hello,we have a family businesses, and we where planning to apply for Lmia because we are struggling with the employees.
We put at the job bank that we are looking for employees but no one showed up.
Can we make it the application for Lmia by our self or should we find an agent.
Does the foreign employee that we want to get need to have work experience on cooking or language levels evaluated even that we are looking someone without experience,or without language level.
For how long should we put at the website that we are looking for employees, and in how many websites.
If we get approved Lmia ,is it for sure that the foreign employees will get aprovohet to or is there any requairments that the person that we will offer the job must have .
Thank you

- You can apply yourself if you are comfortable doing the process on your own. Or you can hire an agent. Your choice.
- Yes, the foreign employee should have related past work experience.
- Yes, the foreign employee should be able to effectively communicate in either English or French.
- No, it is not guaranteed that the foreign employee's work permit will be approved if the LMIA is approved. The work permit can be refused if IRCC feels the applicant doesn't have relevant work experience, language skills and/or ties to their home country.
- For your questions related to the length of the job posting and the number of places where you post, you need to follow the LMIA recruitment directions: https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/foreign-workers/median-wage/low/requirements.html#h2.6
