Hi, everyone. I'm holding a 1year closed work permit, lmia exempt.
I was told that to be granted the 50 points I have to be working for the employee at the time of the PR application.
If I don't get any invitation in between my 11th and last month I'll be a tourist, not a worker anymore, and then, I would lose my 50 points into a further application.

Is it correct? Can someone shed someone lights on this matter. If have any links to support it would be even better!

Thanks for your answer.

Can you share where they do this statement?

I thought having a job offer, 1y of work and a letter from the employer saying that they want to keep me for an year after a get the pr would be enough

It's enough as long as you still hold a valid work permit and are working for that employer.

It needs to specifically be a closed work permit such as IEC Young Professionals and you have a valid job offer.

Agreed. It OP says they are on a closed permit. The question they are asking is whether they can still count the job offer points once the closed work permit expires.
