I have a few questions to ask if anyone could please help.
I am a skilled tradesman. NOC catorgory B.
Me and my partner have 2 year visas and work permits to work and live in canada which started in August 2017. My partner has an open permit. My work permit was to a specific employer in canada.. Due to my employer. I no longer work for that company since september. I know I cant work until i get a new LMIA. Now thankfully i have a new employer in canada who will be going through the LMIA hiring process to employ me. Until all that goes through. Since then my father became sick and we returned home for a while to see him.
1. Can we return back to canada at anytime or only once the LMIA is approved?
2. How long will the new LMIA process take?
3. Will our social numbers stay the same regardless or going through the LMIA and permits?
4. Can we work in our own country until all the above is finalised again?
We just need reasurrance because we have spent a fortune going through immigration and the process this all requires since 2016 until now. And the fact everything went through so we can move and work in canada. We haven't even started our work ventures yet. So any positive replies will be greatly appreciated.
