Linking Spousal Application

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to link my spousal application to an online account through my GCKey account. I sent my application on October 9, 2017 and CIC received it by October 11, 2017. It's been a month and since yesterday I have been trying to link my application and there is nothing in the system..

Can somebody please tell me how long should I wait until the application can be linked to my account?

Have you received your AOR email from CIC yet? You cannot link online acc if you do not have the AOR email

I sent my application on May, 27th, 2017, they received on June 12th, 2017, got AOR at July 11th, 2017. It usually takes 6-8 weeks. Just need to wait patiently for AOR. After you get your AOR you will have your file number and UCI number in it, then you could link your GCkey account. There is no point to try it right now.

I just received my first AOR today confirming that CIC received my application on October 11, 2017. CIC has given me UCI number and application File number but I tried to link on the same day it just did not get linked ... Do I have to wait for 24 before I can link it?

Congrats for AOR! I do not think there is waiting time for you to link your account when you receive AOR1. I believe you can try 5 times maximum a day to link your account. If failed you have to wait for 24 hours to try again. I failed several times, too when I tried to link my account. My suggestion would be change the info every time when you try to link. For example, in the the first time several times , I put the city name into it and failed, so I changed the city name into the state name instead, and I linked my application successfully. Try this way and I believe you will link it.

Alright! will try different ways to work it out somehow. Do you have any idea when I will get my second AOR asking for medical exam?

My pleasure to help. You will get medical request email from CIC after you get Sponsor approval from CIC. I got SA on July 25th, and medical request email came on Sep,01.

I received medical exam request today. Does it mean that after medical exam is done and clear, the application will be in final stages? They never asked for Police clearance certificate because I already provided them the PCC .. so today I received the medical exam request from the CIC, does that mean that after the medical exam the application will be in its final stages?

Have you filled out the Form5669? you can log on your GCKEY to see if there is any document they are requesting for. If not, should be fine with it.
 
When i sent the application i also sent the schedule A form 5669 along with police clearance certificate.

And i could not link the application so i gave up .. So yesterday i received medical examination request through e-mail, does that mean that my application is in its final stages?
