My husband just notice that there was a misspelling on my name in his life insurance. Do we need to request a new copy or we can submit this first and just add a note saying that there has been a misspelling on my name we are requesting a copy of the new policy with the correct one.

I really wouldn't worry about it as long as the misspelling isn't completely out of order .Order a new one but send the other if your ready to apply .e.g your name sue and they put Pat .

Just 1 letter actually. just worried CIC won't accept this as an evidence due to its misspelling. Yes we are hoping to send our package first week of April.
We already ordered a new one :-\ they say we should wait for 10 business days again.
