Life in Calgary AB

Hi Friends - I will be moving to Calgary soon. It seems it had bad winters and lot of snow. I stayed in Minnesota for a long time and I guess weather will be same in Calgary. Other than that how is calgary overall city, people, activities, crime rate ...etc. And also I am looking for some good elementary schools on north east side. Please advice. Thanks

I have lived in Mineapolis as well....Snow isn't bad as compared to there....Summer is very nice...
