Hi Everyone! This thread is for those who are getting their first approval for pr applications. Please share your timeline here so we can get to know what is cic currently processing?
 
Hi,

I got my first approval early Dec 2013. Hope you don't mind if I share my time line with you.

CIC received PR app: May 2012
OPW approved: Aug 2012
Received 1st email for PR approval : Dec 3rd, 2013
Received 2nd email- PR processes have been completed : Jan 7th, 2014
Now: Waiting for interview scheduling. It has been almost 2 months. Still don't get the letter.

I am a LIC from Vancouver.
 
Just to share my timeline (Edmonton)

Nov 16, 2012 - received application
Feb 2013 - OWP received
Dec 18, 2013 - 1st letter ( eligibility )
Jan 7, 2014 - 2nd email ( pay the PR )
Jan 13, 2014 - received the letter of appointment ( Feb 10, 2014 )
Feb 14, 2014 - another letter for my appointment ( March 20, 2014 )

I received another letter of appointment because I was away from Canada for 6 weeks so I rescheduled it and good thing didn't wait for to long to received the another appointment.

Hello guys... I would like to share my hubby's timeline. I'm the LC2:

PR & WP Application sent on October 28,2012
CIC application received: October 29, 2012
CIC acknowledgement letter: December 25, 2012
OWP approval: January 23, 2013
Sent Add on requirement for change of marital status (Single to Married):February 24, 2013
Vegreville received add on requirement:February 27, 2013
Received email from CPCV for AIP:December 17, 2013
ECAS APPLICATION RECEIVED TO IN PROCESS: December 16, 2013
LC2 Kit: waiting....


He is in Vancouver...

Hi Win26, What city are you from? I am surprised you have received the letter for an interview very fast. The fastest I have ever heard so far. Are you a single applicant? Congrats and good luck on your interview. I am a single applicant, too, but I have been waiting for almost 2 months until now. Ridiculous..

Edmonton and I am single applicant. What city are you from? I heard different city different processing. Thanks
 
Hey guys jst wondering if CIC is currently approving further applications of Dec 2012 and later or just processing only second step for already approved ones. Any idea or news?

hello i remember we have same pr timeline May 23 2013 .. i saw one dec 03 2012 applicant got an AIP last february 14 2014 :)

Oh ok Thanks Jacky such news are really uplifting at least nice to know that they are atleast working on further papers so anyways hope for ours too this year :)

yah hopefuly we get ours too this year atleast the AIP :) but now i am married so for sure youll get ur pr first than me coz ur single :) well atleast just a little m ore wait for my husband like another year than applying for spousal sponsorship if i wait for my pr first :)

Yes being single is little faster but I think according to new rule if lc2 apps will process here in canada then it would be faster for you guys as well anyways we r in same boat until aip lol hope just God listen soon :)

Hey guys hopefully second quarter of the year will bring some good news regarding aip. Hope for best and God is with us so just keep praying. :)
