one of my friend whos gay wants a shelter in Canada as a refugee currently she's in India and have threats of her life from her relative is there any way to come to Canada in LGBTQ refugee protection act...
please help

She needs to get a TRV, come to Canada as a tourist and claim refugee status when she arrives. Or she needs to move out of India to another country, once there be recognized as a refugee by UNHCR and then be selected for resettlement in Canada.

She'll need evidence to support her refugee claim to be successful.

this would be very helpful but can you explain what kind of documents needed to prove refugee claim i mean how she will prove that she is'nt secure in her own country

She would want to provide proof that she is a member of the LGBTQ community and also evidence of the threats and why she is unable to escape them in her home country.
