level 3 diploma obtained in the UK

Hello i will soon have a level 3 diploma in the uk it is a NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry it takes 3 years to obtain, what would the ECA show this as a canadian equivalent? I read online that some people got back that a level 3 diploma in the uk is only equivalent to a 2 year college program in canada. is this true?
