Hello everyone,

I recently received ITA. I worked as a Security Supervisor from 4th November 2016 to 31st March 2018. However, from 1st April 2018 we have a change in contract with our clients and so I am working as a regular Security Guard.

So, should my Letter of Experience from my employer have to describe both these positions?

Yes, it has to describe clearly both the positions with the exact dates. You can mention it as two separate experience in your PR application and submit the same letter in both the placeholders. You can write an LOE, explaining the same.

Thank you Santhkum90 for replying. Just to confirm I am getting this correct: I am not claiming any points for security guard position as it is NOC-C. So I don't need to give any letter of experience right ?

Yes that would be the case. Then you have only one experience and you can provide the letter only for that.

So though I do not claim points for my job as a security guard do i still have to mention about my current position(security guard) in my experience letter. ? or I can just give the experience letter of the Security Supervisor position. Be advised I held both these position with the same company.

You can mention it, as it shows your current employment as well but if you don't prefer it, then don't mention it.
