I just checked ..the processing time for study permit from within Canada itself is 7 weeks. Thailand is at a whopping11 weeks... Seems like quite a surge in applications this year. Though for India it says 6 weeks I dont know how accurate that is.
Actually I think it depends on specific cases, level of study, province that you'll come :) The estimated process time when I applied was 5 weeks, then it increased to 6 weeks, and now 7 weeks; but I got my approved visa by today after only 3 weeks waiting.

Yes might be true. But seems the number of 3 weeks cases are much less than the number of delays. Also the normal processing times might be the average time required. Actual times would then vary for different applications.

Definitely not accurate. There are students waiting for more than 6 weeks now.

Hello People,

I had applied for my Study Permit via Dubai on the 9th of May 2017. Just today, ie 16th June I got my passport request to get my visa stamped! All the best to all of you :)
Congratulations! :) Is your application linked to a CIC account? If so, what do the rows say? Background check, eligibility review and final decision?
