lets share timelines 2014 live in caregiver PR/OWP Applications

Hi I'm newbie here. My husband is the principal applicant for PR for Live-in Caregiver and we received the letter from CIC last August 2014 that my husband is eligible for PR. He filed for his OPW and got it last September 2015. I had my medical exam last August 2015. Submitted the final documents and paid for the application last November 2015. Up to now we haven't received any AOR from CIC...Appreciate your assistance. BTW, we have no child.

Hi everyone! I would like to ask if any of you submitted an "option c" printout instead of "notice of assessment" printout? i called CRA to ask for a copy and they gave me "option c" prinout instead of NOA..
Is option c applicable to NOA for PR application?

I haven't submitted my PR application yet but what I know is that option C is same as NOA. I suggest you make a CRA account online so that anytime you need a copy of T4 or NOA, you can easily access it in your CRA account and print anytime you need it. No need to request a copy of it whenever you need it.

by the way, have you tried editing your application forms which have been validated already? can we still edit it if we have some changes? or do we need to fill out another form again and validate it? because bar codes capture the image what we fill out,am i right? or not?

what happens if i accidentally validated it twice? ???

You can edit it many times but be sure to validate afterwards. Because your last validation will be the final copy of your info. CPC Vegreville won't type every information you filled in that form rather they will just SCAN the BARCODE and that will be their Final information. So if you edit then don't forget to validate.

Here is my timeline:
September 12, 2014 - application received
October 1, 2014 - AOR
November 18, 2014 - open work permit
February 5, 2015 - AIP
February 9, 2015 - request for additional document for my dependants
May 7, 2015 - medical request for dependants + additional documents
June 11, 2015 - application completed
June 26, 2015 - interview
I hope visa for dependants will be issued soon.

Hi, in the open work permit application under the "details of intended work in canada numbers 2-6", can we leave it blank? I tried to put "not applicable" in those sections, but it won't validate, because it says i need to put the intended province and city.

You need to fill-up. Just use your current employer to be your "details of your intended work....." Just put "To continue to work as Full-time Live-in Caregiver" At least 1 Year Duration.

I tried to check in cic website, it says:

Are there different applications for regular and open work permits?

No, you can use the same application form for either type of work permit.

If you apply for an open work permit, you can leave questions 2 to 6 of the “Details of intended work in Canada” section blank.

so,does that mean we can leave it blank? i'm just confused because in the guide it says we shouldn't leave blank on the sections.

2. a) NA
b) NA
3. Province and City/Town. I typed the province and town where I lived then when applying (I still live in the same town now)
Address NA
4. Job title NA
Brief description of duties Not applicable
5. I typed the duration of employment from the date I was going to send the application to the date when my closed work permit expired then
6. LMO No. NA

I have another question...

I paid my application for open work permit and pr app online.. and i printed the official receipt with only one page with the barcodes. when i read the guide, i found out i have to print the COPY 2.. i did not find the copy 2 on my receipt. and it also said step 2. ano po un?
