My family got Visa Approved today! We used VFS for courier. It takes us 4 months to process their visa in Canada Embassy Manila since i became PR on January 29, 2015

Total Processing Time in my Application is 13 months,

From May 2014 to June 2015

Don't be upset, have faith that it will come sooner. Normally, they will say 44 months for PR and 4 months for OWP. I called cic yesterday and the lady agent was not really on the mood to work that day... She even sarcastically said "why do you want to check so soon when you just submitted it last february. You know that PR is 44 months" . However, i insisted for her to open and check my file, after all, i waited for 45 mins before i finally get hold of the agent. So she did, and found out my owp was mailed already 2 days ago. Then i thanked her and she said her usual ending spill then hung up on me, -- its supposed to be me ending the call not her. It was very devastating... Its an ordeal already to wait for the PR and OWP, much more talking to some of the horrible agents.
Try calling again or maybe wait a few more days. It will come sooner than 44 months. Have faith!

Poodle8 You can do that?!! CIC received my application on April 20. Is it too soon to call and ask about my OWP? It makes me nervous that i won't get my OWP in time. I haven't heard anything and my application hasn't started being processed so I don't know what to do. What did you ask the officer? I am thinking of calling at the end of the month so I don't seem TOO crazy by calling after only a month LOL!.

I'm March 2014 applicant with dependants. Mag expire na ung medical sa August. I called cic this morning. They told me they won't check my profile on line if there's an update Kc Hindi pa Ko lagpas sa processing time na 45 months! It's a bit sad. Umaasa pa naman ung mag aama Ko na magka kasama na kami this year.

Please quick question: Did you go to PR interview with your dependents? Mine is back home, so am i supposed to bring him here within a week ???? There's even a part that requests his passport photos...How can i get this in such short notice ? is it something i can provide at a later date?
