hi guys!!i need ur help!!i have a boyfriend here in canada and were planning to get marry before i submit my application for pr and open visa so that i can include him on my application.is that possible because his work permit as contract worker will end on january 2015..I will apply my pr and open visa this october.pls guys i need ur advise!!!thx!!!

it totally depends on both of you. if you get married, of course, he will be included in your papers. but most likely if your aip doesn't arrive before his work permit expires, he has to renew it on his own. on the other hand, he will get owp (based on previous posts/forum)...3rd case, if his work permit expires and won't be able to renew it, your application for pr with him will still continue but he has to leave canada and wait until your pr is approved...c",)

aip means approved in principle. this tells you that you are qualified for pr user the live-in caregiver program. gettin your owp doesn't mean he gets owp, too...i've read some posts that once you receive your aip and your husband is here in canada, then he can apply for owp. c",)

that's right akoito. do you know about the filling-out of the forms? are these for dependants only? i know these should all be prepared & signed by the main applicant for their dependants.

Sorry margaux, i have no idea yet on filling out the forms. You're the first 2013 with dependent applicant in this forum to receive the 3 in 1 kit. Try to ask at 2011 and 2012 forum. BTW, congrats.

yes, i'm married with dependants. i got the letters through email. i didnt realize i was the first one here to confirm receipt of 3 in 1 kit (so that's how it is called) as 2013 applicant. most likely there are other 2013 applicants with dependants that are in process.too
hope somebody can help me re filling out the forms.

did anyone send any inquiry about their case? is delhi embassy now dealing with our case as sponser spouse and if yes then they r now working on september 2013 files...but i dont understand when should we start counting our 8 months that what they r taking in average.....when our dependant sent lc2 or when we received our aip......please reply...

Hi guys! Would just like to inform you that Ms. Chrystelle, the one who posted in FB that she has a friend who passed her application last Dec 2013 and had her dependants' medical done last May 9, had made a mistake. Her friend passed her application Dec 2012, and not 2013.. This proves how important it is to validate second-hand information before reposting it because it may give false hopes to latter applicants, or worse, disappointment to those who passed their applications earlier (2011 and 2012 applicants). As they say, think before you click.. Have a blessed day everyone! More good news on their way please especially for those applicants whose visas are long overdue. :*

On a lighter note, that December 2012 applicant she was speaking of, did not receive an AIP but was already forwarded with a medical request for her dependants. I think this is the current trend for latter applicants as I have read posts from one January 2013 and another February 2013 applicant who claim to have received the LC2's 3 in 1 kit without having AIPs on hand. I hope they have developed a better system which will yield shorter processing times.
