Hi,
I will be attending my interview soon in a few days time...my question is do we have to show the proof of funds at that time?
Is it ok if the PA stays in Canada after immigration and spouse returns? Do both have to complete three years in Canada, or can the spouse go out of Canada and complete about a year outside canada?
Any suggestions please....

After getting the PR, you have to stay in Canada for 2 years within 5 years if time to continue with your PR status. It applies to each applicant not only PA. So your wife can stay outside of Canada for one year after Landing is completed and it shouldn't be a problem. Just ensure you and her stay at least 2 years in Canada in the first 5 years, that can be total number of days not necessarily continuous 2 years.

Also, it is better to have your proof of funds, just incase.
