I am holding Canada PR.My PR going to expire in 2014 i only stayed 12 months in Canada and now thinking to complete my one more year but thing happened i got pregnant and can not travel so i have to wait another 6 months to move in Canada,if i will move after 6-7 months then there will be only 6 months left on my PR expiration.so my question is:

1. As i already spent 1 year in Canada and will be able to stay only 6 months more before my PR card going to expire so how i can renew my PR card with 18 months stay in Canada in 730 days rule?

2.Is there will be any issue if i will stay in Canada after PR card got expired and complete my 730 days rule and then apply for renew?

3.Can i stay in Canada with expired PR card after 5 years time to complete my 730 days rule?

Please suggest me what to do i am in very high tension do not want to loose my PR status.

First, it is possible as you try to enter Canada that immigration becomes aware that you don't meet the residency requirements and if they do, they could report you which means you would have to appeal for your PR. Based on your reasons for not meeting the requirements, you could lose the appeal and then you would lose your PR.

If you get into Canada without getting reported, then it would be ok for you to stay in Canada after the PR card expires.

You don't say when you stayed in Canada for a year. If you stayed for a year right after your landing and then left for 3.5 years, you would have to stay for a full 2 years in Canada before you can apply to renew your PR card based on having 2 years in the past 5. If the year you stayed was later, after your landing, then you might meet the residency requirements sooner. You must have at least 730 days in Canada in the past 5 years before you apply to renew your card.

Another issue would be with the baby. Are you planning on taking it with you? You can not sponsor the baby for PR while you yourself do not meet the residency requirements.

@Leon thanks for your quick reply.yes I started to stay in Canada after 13 months of landing date then I continue stay for 1 year.now one year left and that can be possible only after delivery.

In my experience, best to deliver baby in Canada otherwise you would be in trouble (if not from the Visa exempt country). It is not easy to get visa of child who is suppossed to be sponsored in Canada.

I know but my condition is critical and doct not allowing me to travel..then I will leave my child in home country with grand parents and will complete my remaining time.thats the reason I am asking can I stay in Canada even WITH MY EXPIRED pr card to complete my 730 days rule.
