So folks in the IT industry do not have to worry about the APEGGA licensing, correct?

Yes APEGGA licensing applies to Engineers only.
Developers, QAs, Designers, DBAs, Architects won't need license. Actually a big blessing for IT fellas.

Aah, okay - that is a big relief!
But then, it wouldn't matter until one gets a job there... ;-)

Hello Everyone,

I am thinking of applying for Foreign Licensee as i would land in Canada in middle of next year.
I wish to arrange my license before landing.

However,i am afraid that if i provide reference it may affect my current employment.
I am kind of not comfortable doing so.

Does any knows if APEGA contacts your references overseas?
