I’m an international student and just graduated from UBC with a 4 year bachelor’s degree. I’ve decided to leave Canada without applying for pgwp and plan on coming back in 2 years for masters. My plan is to come back for masters and then apply for pgwp and eventually PR. I made this decision since we can only apply for pgwp once and I’m hoping that getting masters and potentially learning French in that time would boost my points enough to apply for PR down the line. While this is the plan I’m not sure if I’m making a mistake by not applying for pgwp right after undergrad. So I was wondering if anyone has done this or knows some else who did the same thing and what their experience was like? Also would leaving the country without pgwp and then coming back to study again raise any flags or cause issues with getting a study permit later? Would love to hear any advice!

No real red flags I guess. But I would stay, work and learn French in Canada.
