Hello you lovely people,
I know this question has been asked a lot before, but my question is slightly different.

I am currently working in Alberta and say, I got my AINP nomination certificate. After I submit my application to the CIO office in Sydney, NS, do I have the flexibility to move to a different province.

Basically, I want to go for graduate school in Ontario from next summer. If I submit my application to CIO in a month (by end of May), and leave Alberta in May next year, would that stand as a problem if my application is still in process? I plan to work in between this whole time.

I am trying to plan some stuff, so please your advice would be really helpful.

Technically, you can only move away from province of nomination after you've landed as PR. Before that, the province has the right to cancel your nomination. At landing, you are required to provide an address in AB to confirm your settlement.

Tricky point is if you have ties in Alberta (work or school or families) when you land while having a "alternative" residence in Ont., you may be able to convince the CBSA people that Alberta is your destination and s/he will let you land.

If you have restriction in employment (See your PNC from AINP), you can't even leave your job until landed.

Thank you mf4361. Your reply helps a lot. Hopefully it is processed before that.
