Bacially, the huge number of invitations in 2021 exhausted the quotas of 2022.

They may resume FSW and CEC at the end of 2022 to prepare for 2023, and CRS will take 6 months to drop below 500, and another 9 - 12 months to drop below 470.

For ppl who have a CRS of 460-470, they should be looking at the beginning of 2024.

Immigration lawyer Steven Meurrens obtained the document through access to information and provided it to the National Post. In the memo, department officials outline that “an estimated 76,000” applicants are in the inventory for federal high-skilled worker applications, which is more than what the government needs to meet targets all the way out to 2023.

People should start looking at other streams like PNP. FSW draw doesn't seem likely to happen until end of 2023.

Yeah, after doing some math, for ppl with a CRS of 470, they won't be invited until Oct 2024.

I just feel like that I have been striving for a dream in the past 4 years, with my heart full of hope, thinking I was getting closer and closer to it.

Then, all of a sudden, IRCC crushed it.

PNP programs are the best way to get through folks. Explore all possible ways you can, specifically less taken path by others which has more chance of getting though. FSW draws are not gonna happen atleast till the first half of 2022 and when the draws resume, CRS cutoff would be definitely above 490 or 500
