Lawfully admitted for atleast a year clause-Regualr application

I am currently residing in United States.I am intrested in submitting by application for Canada immigraton.As i have learned from the website that we have two processes in place viz Simplified Application process & Regular Application process.

I was in USA from Feb 2007-June-2007 at IL USA
Then i had to move to India for 3 months for my marriage & I renentered USA in Sept 2007 but this time in Pennsylvania (PA) State & have been staying in PA since then.

Given the above information i would like to know whether i meet the requirements for Regular Application process or not?

I m concerned whether i fit into the clause of "lawfully admitted in USA for a period of atleast a year"

Does that mean i have to stay for contionus one year in USA to be eligible for regular application??
or
Does it mean one has to stay in USA for more then 12 months..although not continous

If when you reentered the US in Sept 07 you were given 1 year or more admissionyou can apply to Buffalo, if not New Delhi.

To PMM,

What if you were admitted to USA under tourist visa B1/B2 for 6 months, and you applied for change of status (F1 student) and it was granted for 2 years. Would it be lawfully admitted for at least a year clause-regulation if you want to apply at the Buffalo Office?

No you would not qualify! You were originally admitted for 6 months. PMM will attest to that I can guarantee!
