Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your experience. My timeline is kind of similar to yours but with a month delay (applied in November). I've read in other threads that it's usually very random the way they process applications. Some people that have applied in January 2021 have already gotten their approval, while people from October-December are still waiting. It's just a matter of patience from now.

Yes, I received my visa on May 24 and travelled to Canada on June 7.

I applied from Paraguay with my husband on May 10, 2021 for September 2021 intake, the timeline is the same for both of us
Application submitted on May 10
Biometric completed on June 9 and update the same day (VFS in Paraguay was closed so we went to Uruguay)
Medical request on July 13
Medical passed on July 17
no update since then, i'm really anxious because my classes start on September 1

I believe your processing time starts counting since you gave biometrics. Let's hope you do get your SP before class start. Is your program available online so you can start classes before travelling?
Thanks! No, there are not online classes. I alredy sent a mail to the University asking if i could defer my semester to january in case i need to.

anyone else mexico visa office waiting? we're hoping to hear back within the next week- send passport (takes ~3-4weeks i guess?) and hsould be enough time to travel to canada and do quarantine and only lose max 1 week of classes.
