Last semester part-time of a 2 year program, how long is the PGWP?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this, not even an experienced immigration lawyer could give me a clear answer.

I am taking a 2 year program of which the last-semester is part-time by necessity (transfer credit). Will IRCC see this as having studied for 2 years in terms of PGWP length or will I only get 1.5 years, as the last semester is part-time.

And when you were waiting for your PGWP, was the time on implied status deducted from the PGWP validity?

Thanks so much!

2years. You can be a part time student in your final term. If you want to be triple sure, then ask your school what number of years they would write on your letter of graduation. 1.5 or 2. It is whatever they write that cic decides on.

No. your implied status isn't deducted. Your work permit starts from the day it is approved.
