If you have any question blah blah blah.........................................

Anybody? Seniors please help! :(
I took my duties and corrected them just a bit and it seems good to me, but I can't judge my own letter. Plz somebody just say if it sounds like 6313 to you or not. Thx!!!

Hi! I think it sounds extremely good. I am not familiar with this NOC but assume that you have checked your duties with those of 6313. One thing I wondered about was your vacation pay. That is usually included in salary. Is yours unpaid leave? Or do you get a percentage in lieu on each pay cheque?

I get 4 percent every paychque, idk if that is considered to be a paid vacation or not but I took two weeks off and I will definitely wait 2 extra weeks in order to meet the requirements... Plus by the time I have gathered all of my docs it will have been 13-14 months.... Now if my managing director approves of this draft I will be happy to start booking ielts, pcc and other stuff...

Thank you so much for your opinion, you cannot even imagine how supportive that is to me.

Hi Ukulele

Yep - it does sound similar to the 6313 code. Your role is more about supervising and a good percentage is also about assisting the senior managers...if i got it right.

I'm sure when you were initially hired, you must have been given some written job description along with your contract? If yes, have you included those points too in your letter? Even though this one sounds good enough, you may want to add those points too.

And lastly, yes HRSDC will confirm you if 6313 is the best code to put to your role. Of course you should ask them now, before applying for CEC, so that you are 100% sure that the noc code you are putting on CEC application is the right one. And you can even include that email - just as a proof - so that a VO may not object later.

Another thing - about your vacation. Did you spend some time off on your vacation in the past 12 months? If yes, you may want to count your actual hours worked per week. I guess the rules for CEC 2013 are 30 hours per week for 12 months. Since you were working for 44 hours, im sure you have already fulfilled that requirement, but just make sure by checking your pay stubs. Mine had hours in it.

Please try to get the employer's reference letter printed on company's official letter head (that has mailing address and phone) and get it signed either by your supervisor or HR manager.

So hopefully you will get your response back from HRSDC soon - and then you will be all set to go.

All the best.

Yes I had 2 weeks off. I will definitely wait 12 months plus two weeks. Those were the duties on my hiring letter. I copied them and I added about 10 percent of info that I really know I do but it wasn't included in my hiring letter.

I really hope that my managing director looks at it and signs it now.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank you so much for your opinions and good luck to all of you too!!!

I have a question regarding my work experience lenght. I'd worked for a company almost year and a month in which i took 5 weeks vacation but i am working 44 hours per week and if we count by cic requirements (30 hrsX 52 weeks=1560 hours), I am already more than 1750 hours ..... Does it like I havto work for 52 weeks even if i am working 44 hours a week.??..??????

Please guide

Thanks
Dannymp

You cannot use the extra hours worked in a week to top up. My understanding is if you have a week with 15 hours and another with 15 hours that would equal one week. So you would have to work 53 weeks to get the full year. So any partial weeks need additional weeks to cover them even if the total hours is enough.

A 44-hour week is one full-time week, and you need 52 full-time weeks. If your vacation was paid, don't worry about it. If it was not (if it was an unpaid leave of absence), then you'll have to work the extra 5 weeks...
