Last Name problem ...HELP PLEASE

Hi ,
My name was Ali Zamir Ahmad . But Ahmad got missed from my matric certificate and Fsc certificate making it Ali Zamir. So I corrected my Passport according to my certificate as vice versa is not possible . But before name amendment I appeared in IELTS British council . So IELTS Administration is not ready to correct my name as per my new passport . so ,I again appeared in IELTS resulting in
Speaking 4( not possible by any means as they want me to appear again for money)
writtng 8
listening 7
reading 8 .

Whereas my previous ielts result is but with the name ALI ZAMIR AHMED
speaking 5.5
writting 7
reading 7
listening 7.5

I have got admission in UNB and U ALberta by explaining them the same thing . But i cant submit my new result with speaking of 4 for visa . So Can I submit old one with affidavit explaining this for VISA .
Help would be appreciated .

I do not see any problem here. IELTS is not requirement of visa office. It is required by the college/university. If college university accepted you, then it does not matter.

I suggest that you prepare your application and submit it as soon as possible.

thank you bro.... I will apply as soon as my bank statement completes 4 months. But , what do you think should I go for recheck of my IELTS as speaking band of 4 is not possible I think....

ielts bands matter alot , visa officier are very concious about ielts marks but as per your case I think you should use your perivous ielts marks bcoz your speaking band is better thn latest one and with it you can use affitidavit as you said,its ryt

But If u see the CIC checklist for the docs to be submitted ....it doesn't show IELTS TRF should be submitted.So , I also think IELTS doesn't matter for VISA.. Checkout the list on CIC web

Your IELTS is on record and easily accessible by CIC, so don't even think of applying on the basis of previous one.

Even if it is accessible to them then, it shouldn't make the difference .Both the test are given by same person not different persons.By the way , New IELTS transcript shows I am appearing for the first time . It shows it was my first attempt to avoid any kind of confusion b/w this one and old one.

I have a lot of evidence to support my name amendment case such as my old passport with UK visa, old banks accounts with that name .

you are right you can submit any ielts if both are taken with in a 24 months ,no problem bro

Yes bro ....one was taken in Aug 2011 and other in April 2012.

if your name on IELTS TRF matches of that of yours on your passport you have got nothing to worry about.

Your name on your passport is the key.

IELTS is not required for the visa. Many of my friends applied without the IELTS certificate and they got their visa already. I just share this to reduce your stress. Moreover, it is not required in the check list as others mentioned.

There is no problem in ur case,as Ielts is the requiement uni not embassy,so if they accepted u,embassy wil not have any problem ,even if u give them ue ielts with 4 in speaking but i think u should not send ur ielts rezlt.

Ok..And yes what if my surname on passport is Riaz and on educational documents is Farooqi...Consultant told me that educational document has nothing to do with passport so its ok..Please help

yes. As I said earlier, name on your passport is key. That's what you are going to write on your study permit application form. Stick with that. That's what Immigration officers at port of entry are going to type in their system.
