Last minute acceptance for Fall 2013 Intake

I previously applied for a slot in BCIT last April and just when I thought I'd been rejected already, they offered me a slot late last week. I accepted it and paid the commitment fee but now I am afraid of being unable to secure a student permit on time since I heard that it usually takes months. My classes start on Sept. 3 already and my acceptance letter has yet to arrive! I'm expecting it to arrive next week but then that would give me only 1 month to process my visa...

I still have a valid multiple-entry visa to Canada until 2015, and I have never been denied a visa to the Schengen states, USA (mine's still valid until 2020), and Japan among others. My TOEFL score is 106/120 and my academic records are also above average, having finished my bachelor's from one of the top 3 universities in the Philippines just this year.

I'm really nervous about this because I really want to study again but I don't know if I should just defer my acceptance to next year's intake...

Any helpful advice? :'(

Thanks xecuter! Heard that the workload is heavy though (taking 30 units this first semester) so I really need to study hard! Hoping that things work out

You don't have to worry!! IMHO I think that instructors are easy going and courses are not hard at all. Most exams are MCQs so no big deal.

Well you can reduce your course load if you think 30 credits is a lot. To be considered full time you will need to register for 9 credit hours per semester (three courses).
