I have changed my mind, I am going the inland route as my partner and I have agreed on it.

When I leave to go home, how long (month wise) should I wait before trying to come back into Canada? I am from the US btw.

When would be the best time to order the state police clearances?

How do you order FBI and state clearances from abroad? How long does it take to receive it back?

What does it take in order to get Approval In Principle?

What should I tell the officials when I cross the border alone?
Last time I crossed with my boyfriend so I am unsure on how they will question me when I arrive alone.
I won't have a job, no money in the bank, and I live with my mom so the only proof I could give them is a return ticket.

Also, it would only be my second time ever flying into another country.
But if I haven't been unlawful will being in canada and I stay a few months home then do you think I will have a hard time getting back in?

You know that applying inland is an option for spouses that are actually IN Canada for the duration of the process? This has already been told to you. And yet you are asking about leaving????? YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO LEAVE DURING AN INLAND APPLICATION. What if they don't let you back in? Your application will be REFUSED because it can NOT be converted to outland once it is filed inland. You would have to withdraw and start over and you would NOT get a refund of the intial fees.

You worry me. Your endless questioning, re-questioning, demanding of answers AND of guarantees that NOBODY can give you makes me wonder if you should just hire someone to do this for you. I'm very concerned that alot of the information you have been given is just not sinking in and could lead to some serious mistakes on your part.

No after I hear back from my extension, which I assume will be a refusal then I will be going home.

I will stay there for a few months and gather more documents while there then apply from within canada when I get back here.

How many months after leaving canada though would I be allowed back into Canada?

I wish I could hire someone to help but I can't afford it.

If your extension is refused then go and return BEFORE you file your application. As to what you say, visiting your boyfriend I would guess as this is the truth. Then file your application and be done with it.

I echo rjessomes comments and those of feb7 on the other board. You have been given answers to every question asked, many answers detailed and time consuming. You need to re-read your posts and construct your application taking into account: 1. the CIC guides - they are not trying to trick you and 2. various repsonses to your questions you have posed. Stop worrying about what you don't have and make the most of what you do have. There are many people on these boards who have been waiting a long time to be with their spouse, you are lucky that you have the opportunity.

Take some time away from the boards and print 2 sets of the forms, fill the first in so you know what you are doing then redo the final set and send all the evidence you DO have regardless of what it is. Get the legal stuff you need, pay the fee and send the application.

Just a note about the police clearences: when you submit your application, the police clearences shouldn't be more than 3 months old. So if you're not submitting it for another 6 months, don't order them just yet.

I dont understand how filing inland is going to help your case and ease any of the concerns you have been having. Do you even know the difference between inland and outland?
AIP takes approx 6 months, and then could be years until PR- where as outland your whole process, including PR could be completed in less then six months.
Your mind is a million different places and you get FAR too worked up for your own good... before making any decisions, I think you should just chill and take some time away from these boards and the immigration idea altogether.

I dont mean to be harsh ColorMePanda, but I am not that much older than you, and I seem to be able to grasp/handle this immigration thing with greater ease than you. You HAVE to do some investigating on your own (like alot of it..), as you cant rely on this board and these people to answer everything for you.
You have asked these questions before, and yet you keep asking, a thousand different ways ie) the FBI and state clearances, you KNOW have been answered by multiple people. If you cant come to some simple conclusions on your own and make any decision without the people on here's opinion- then maybe you are far from ready to apply for PR..... ? Just my thoughts anyways...
