Hi Guys,

Got admitted for Phd by HEC Montreal - Jan 2013 intake. Got my letter only last week and applied for a CAQ. Should get my CAQ in next 2-3 weeks. Will it be too late to apply for a Canadian student visa? Website guidelines say last date for Jan 2013 intake is Dec 1 :(
Also am getting financial aid by the university + differential tuition fee waiver. Do I need to submit any other financial documents?

Thanks

Last date unoffically is 10th dec I think. not too sure, browse previous years pages. Suggest you apply on Nov 30 without CAQ and they will ask you for it automatically within 10 days.

Congrats. Its a bit late for sure but no worries. If you submit everything properly, you can get a visa in 10 days. Keep all other docs ready beforehand. The day you get your CAQ, submit the application at VFS. If CAQ takes more than a week from now, submit with a short letter indicating your CAQ application reference number and the reason for delay. They will consider your case for sure. PM me if you need specific info.
