language requirement. Need clarification please.

Do i need a CELPIP General or I can take the cheaper CELPIP General-LS version? I just checked the CIC website and it's not clear to me if the CELPIP General-LS is still acceptable. Hope you can help me on this. Thank you.

According to CIC website, "Test results from the following list are acceptable:Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program General Test (CELPIP-G), not the academic version or the CELPIP-General LS two-skill (listening and speaking) version of the CELPIP general test.For tests taken after April 1, 2014, you must have achieved a score of level 4 or higher (up to 12) in listening and speaking."

Hi SKgirl ,

You can take either one , Both are acceptable by CIC . I personally took the CELPIP General-LS when i applied for Citizenship and they accepted it . Thanks
