Hi guys,
I know that this question raised in the past, but I would like to hear several opinions regarding the topic again.
My family(me, my wife and 3 month infant) are planning to land at the beginning of January in Calgary within FSW program.
My question refers to to those, who passed this process in winter, especially who lives in Calgary, Is that good idea to land in winter, or its better to wait for spring season? The question is regarding all social aspects: housing, job, etc.
Thanks

The challenge would be moving around town; January is a mess. Driving is such a hassle, and standing at a bus stop in -40C is not fun.

Bundling up (especially with a baby) is so time consuming too.

Well, a good thing about landing in Calgary in January would be, at least you know that will pretty much be as bad as it gets. It won't get much worse than that, except maybe in February, so when you live through that and make it into spring, you know you can make it through the worst of the winter!
