Hello - any advice will be greatly appreciated

my son and I received our COPR a week ago, we are in the Niagara area and are planning our landing this weekend! do we need anything other than the COPR and our passports? and birth certs? does the sponsor (my wife) need to accompany us? we don't have any items to follow as we've been here since August 2014 myself on visitors visas and my son on a study permit, we brought personal belongings with us then, we've brought mostly everything else here, will that be a complication? in a nutshell what questions will be asked?

again many thanks

Hi

All you need is the COPR and passports. The sponsor doesn't need to be there. The officer will confirm the information is correct on the COPR and have you initial a few things. It's quick and easy.

Just FYI landing at Niagara over weekend is usually not recommended due to long waiting lines. Maybe nowadays, in winter time it is eased up a bit but weekdays are still much better. The landing process itself is very brief and simple as was already explained above.

We landed at the Queenston/Lewiston bridge yesterday .. It was supper quick 15 mins . Corp passport was needed . We drove over and at the toll booth we told him we were flag poling , he gave us a slip of paper and told us to drive round to see another officer, he then took some more details sent us off back to Canada , then we went to the booth in Canada he told us them to go inside all this took 45 mins from crossing the bridge to getting back in our car .
