I GOT MY PASSPORT AND COPR IN SEPTEMBER AND PLANNING TO COMPLETE THE LANDING FORMALATIES IN MARCH/APRIL. I HAVE A QUESTION AND I NEED ADVICE FROM SENIORS ON THAT. DO WE NEED TO DECLAIR ANY PROPERTY ON MY NAME AT THE TIME OF LANDING TO CANADIAN AUTHORITIES OR IT WILL BE DECLAIR WHILE FILLING THE TAX RETURN. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS ONLY A PLOT FILE AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY REGISTRATION IN MY NAME, ONLY IN THE SOCIETY RECORD IT IS IN MY NAME, HOWEVER THERE ARE REGULAR PAYMENT FROM MY ACCOUNT WHICH I HAVE TO MAKE FOR THE INSTALLMENT OF THAT PROPERTY.

Only when you file the IT returns. During landing, immigration officials will only be interested in how much funds you are bringing in.

P.S. please avoid typing in all upper cases.

However, I would like to know if I do not have any address in Canada yet. How should I fill the form for SIN and PR card?!

You do not have to fill any form for SIN or PR card. Immigration officer will take the details directly from your COPR.
However, you MUST provide them a Canadian address. Even if it's temporary.

I know it's a challenge for people who have no one they know here.
There are some hotels and short term accommodation providers who allow you to use their address for correspondence.

You can check with them.

Seeking Expert Opinion:

With our two kids me and my wife intend to make a short landing in next Summer, probably June would be the best time. We will in sha allah move to Canada sometime in 2017 for stay.

Now, I have some questions regarding our first time short landing:

(1) As this will be a short landing, say for a week only, do I need to take the same amount of CAD that I have shown during application process for four of my family members??

(2) Can I take my bank certificate regarding the fund where equivalent CAD will also be shown by bank authority? As I am not moving for good in 2016, I dont want to cash all instruments.

Help much appreciated.

Or who has this record , u can find some record in the schools as well if they have immunization

ur first landing is considered as full regular landing therefore vo want to check funds.
U can take some funds with u and rest in statement form and tell officer that after opening bank account in Canada you will bring all required funds as per statement

I'm planning to land in Calgary on last week of March-2016 and all the arrangement (including staying , air tickets) are made.
It will be a short landing for 10days period (7 days in Calgary + later3 days In Toronto).

Seniors please advise
-on obtaining Health Insurance after landing. As I've seen the registration form ask for declaration for minimum 183 days stay in year, which will not be the case for me. Should I go for it or proceed for travel insurance for 10 days period.

-Since I'm not looking forward to settle there for a tleast till June 2017 (being Oil sector scenario is very Bad), should I need to go Bank account opening as without subsequent transition, the account become dormant
-I'm planning to carry around 5~6000 Cad $ and further Bank certificate from Muscat with avialable balance to meet CIC requirement.. Will it sail through?

technically no issues u can land any time until expiry of visa
But for safer side it is always recommended to land asap

u can open bank account also a saving account and put ur funds in saving account ur account will never be dormant
