Landing formalities between Connecting flights

Hello All,

I am planning to Land in Canada this January. Planning to book the tickets to Halifax.

I see most of the flights going through Toronto.

Will i be mandated to complete my landing in Toronto itself ?

Your landing will be done in Toronto. Keep minimum 3 hours between connecting flights.
My family it took around 30 minutes for landing formalities.
We need to give Canada address for sending pr card.
Also we can get sin number in Toronto airport.
Generally in January crowd will be less in immigration for pr landing.
