I am in the process of applying for my Permanant Residence (Quebec).
I just recently reveived the letter stating that they are ready to give me a PR visa as soon as I send them the 975$ landing fee.
For me as a US citezin, does anyone have an idea what the timeframe or process is now that I've sent in the fee?

Thanks!

About 2 months or less, you send them $975, then they send passport request, you send passport, they return passport.

Is it worth sending in my passport right away then to avoid delays?
And are they looking for the original passport or will a certified copy do?

You wait and then send the passport when requested.

Thank you both!
1 last question:
Is is it about 2 months between when I send in the $975 and when they request the passport, or 2 months total from when I send the passport and when I have my visa in hand?

Thanks!
