LANDING EXPERIENCE AT VANCOUVER...PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES HERE

our family recently got PR visa,
we are planning to land at vancouver in April from India and return back soon to india within 10 days.
since we are travelling with our baby we are considering landing at vancouver since the climate would be better compared to toronto

most of the immigrants prefer to land at toronto, is there any negative feedbacks of landing at vancouver.

does the landing procedure take a long time at vancouver than at toronto? (read somewhere it takes about 4 hours to complete the formality)

friends those of you who have landed at vancouver please share your experiences.

Congrats for the PR.
I have also got PR recently and would be landing in March. WIth my limited knowledge i can say that - as such there is no restriction for FSW immigrant to land in Canada, except Qubec. Further I dont see any reason why landing procedures at one particular airport would take longer time than the other, unless you have a huge queue ahead of you. Ideally it should take the same amount of time.

One of my friends has chosen Vancouver as POE for his first landing. He plans to come back after two weeks. He has no relatives or friends there. Can someone please suggest what options does he has to get his PR cards mailed to him. Need a quick reply. Thanks.

iam not certain of this but i think he can ask the hotel where he is going to stay if he can provid their address for PR and whether they would be willing to post it to him once it arrives.
it is better he confirms this with the hotel before hand.

i have read in toronto a few motels like safestay allows people who stay there to use its address but not sure if they are willong to post the card though!!
