I am working on my MBA is the US. I just sent my passport to the Canadian embassy today for visa issuance. They have also mandated that I land in Canada prior to March 11, 2009.
Would it be ok if I flew to Canada for a weekend and return to the US and still remain in status? The soonest I will be able to go back is in May 2011. Will this still keep me in status?
My parents live in Canada and I will be providing their address for my PR card.
