Hi,
When I applied for Permanent Residence, I have included spouse in my application. Currently I am in India. As my wife is working in India, she is planning to join me after 6 months. Can I do a landing alone?. Is she can land after 6 months? Please help me on this.

The primary applicant needs to land first. From your statement it appears that you are the PA, so your wife can land anytime before her immigrant visa expires.

I got my Visa.. I have below issues. Can you please help me?

My wife and me got a visa with expiry date as 15th Jan 2015. The issue here is my wife is working and we don't want to take a risk of both resigning. Can you please respond to various options that I am thinking of?

1) Is there any way can we extend CoPR and Visa?
2) Can I travel alone first and can we process one more visa for my wife after I get my PR card?
3) Can my wife land and return back to India before getting PR card?. Will it impact PR processing?
4) Can we both return back after landing before getting PR card.

1) Is there any way can we extend CoPR and Visa? Yes you can if your kids are in school and wait until academics end and all.you need to reaquest CIC and they should allow. your timeline is narrow
2) Can I travel alone first and can we process one more visa for my wife after I get my PR card? not sure but I wont go for this
3) Can my wife land and return back to India before getting PR card?. Will it impact PR processing? Go for this option which is ideal and best ,it wont impact anything. You can collect her PR card and send it to India and ask her to travel with that next time
4) Can we both return back after landing before getting PR card. Yes you can but someone need to send the PR card to you from there. You can give ur friends address to send PR. Heard that its taking some 6 months to get pr card not for everyone some odd cases so risky

Immigrant visa cannot be extended.

Option 3 is most viable and 4 a distant second choice. You need to have an address in Canada where your PR cards will be mailed.

One more question. My spouse passport is getting expired sooner. If we apply for new passport, will it impact the PR card processing?. Whether PR card will have reference to passport?

CBSA will accept visas stamped on older passport as long as the new passport is provided as well upon entry.
